Total abandonment, unashamed and unafraid; these are the emotions I experience when I work with the clay. My work exposes me to me.  I say this because my exploration is not a search for a controlled outcome. I often say that the clay is a thief, it takes from you, and it can’t be prevented.  The soul cannot hide when the spirit creates.
